Egg dishes

The only non-vegetarian food this kitchen makes: a single omelette, a double, and omlet pav. Everything else on the menu carries the green mark.

The list

  • Non-vegetarian

    Single Omlet

    ₹120

One omelette, made to order with onion and green chilli. The shop’s plainest egg dish and the one most of its egg orders start from.

  • Non-vegetarian

    Double Omlet

    ₹200

The same, made with two eggs. The most expensive item on the whole menu.

  • Non-vegetarian

    Omlet Pav

    (1 omelette, 2 pav)₹120

One omelette with two pav to fold it into. The Bombay breakfast, and the fastest thing to eat standing up at a counter.

About these prices. These are the shop’s delivery prices. Ordering over the counter is usually cheaper — a delivery menu carries the platform’s commission and the packaging. They are taken from the shop's own listing rather than from a board, so treat them as the upper end and ask at the counter.

About these pictures. The dish pictures on this page are illustrations, not photographs of our own plates. They show what a dish is, not the portion you will be served.

If you are avoiding egg

These three dishes are the whole of it. 36 of the 39 items on this menu are vegetarian, including every one of the fasting dishes, all ten teas, all four coffees and the puran poli. Each carries its own green or red mark on every page — nothing here relies on you remembering a claim made at the top.

What a website cannot tell you is how a one-counter kitchen keeps egg apart from the rest. If you keep a fast, or a strict vegetarian household, ask. It is a fair question, it takes a sentence at the counter, and the honest answer is the shop’s to give rather than ours to assume.
