Delete your account

You can ask us to close your GoTender account and remove your personal data. You do not need to be signed in, and you do not need the app installed.

What is removed

  • Your name, email address, mobile number and password.
  • Saved delivery addresses, your cart, saved items and your location.
  • Messages and enquiries you sent through GoTender, and your reviews.
  • For a shop: the shop page, its catalogue, photographs and uploaded files.

What is kept, and why

Invoices and order records are kept for as long as tax law requires us to keep them — we cannot delete a GST invoice on request, and neither can you. They are kept for that purpose alone and are not used to contact you or to advertise anything.

If your shop has orders that have not been delivered, or money that has not been settled, we will finish those first and tell you so. Deleting an account is not a way to walk away from an order somebody has paid for.

How long it takes

We write back within 30 days to confirm what has been removed. Most requests are done sooner.
