The half of the name that is not tea

Coffee

Four cups: hot, cold, cold with chocolate, and cold with a scoop of ice cream dropped in. The last two are dessert wearing a straw.

The list

  • Vegetarian

    Hot Coffee

    ₹150

Milk coffee, made strong. The shop is a coffee centre by name and this is the cup that earns it.

  • Vegetarian

    Cold Coffee

    ₹180

Blended cold with milk until it holds a head of froth.

  • Vegetarian

    Chocolate Cold Coffee

    ₹200

Cold coffee run through with chocolate. Sweet enough to be a dessert, and usually ordered as one.

  • Vegetarian

    Ice Cream Cold Coffee

    ₹200

The same, with a scoop dropped in. The most expensive thing on the menu, jointly.

About these prices. These are the shop’s delivery prices. Ordering over the counter is usually cheaper — a delivery menu carries the platform’s commission and the packaging. They are taken from the shop's own listing rather than from a board, so treat them as the upper end and ask at the counter.

About these pictures. The dish pictures on this page are illustrations, not photographs of our own plates. They show what a dish is, not the portion you will be served.

What you are choosing between

₹150

☕ Hot coffee

Milk coffee, made strong. This is the cup the shop’s name is claiming, and the one to have in the morning alongside pohe rather than after a meal.

₹180

🥤 Cold coffee

Blended cold with milk until it holds a head of froth. Thirty rupees more than the hot, and most of what the shop sells after four o’clock in May.

₹200

🍫 Chocolate cold coffee

The cold coffee with chocolate run through it. Sweet enough that it is worth treating as a dessert rather than a drink — which is how it is usually ordered anyway.

₹200

🍦 Ice cream cold coffee

The same, with a scoop in it. Jointly the most expensive thing on the whole menu, and still less than a chain café charges for a plain latte.

The honest comparison

A tea here is ₹110 and a coffee is ₹150, so the coffee is the considered order rather than the habit. That is the right way round for a shop like this: the tea counter is what it does ten times an hour, and the coffee is what somebody sits down for. If you are ordering for two and one of you is undecided, the cold coffee is the safer of the four.
