Whether it is worth it

Here is the sum. Do it yourself rather than take our word.

Everybody already gets 20% off without a card. So the card is only worth buying for the extra 20 points it adds — not for the whole 40. That is the honest comparison, and it is the one nobody selling a card usually shows you.

The card saves ₹1,000 on that one package against what you would pay anyway. So a single-member card at ₹500 pays for itself inside 1 package of that size — and a family card at ₹1,000 across four people usually inside a year of ordinary testing.

On small bills it takes longer, and on a single ₹499 Sunday package it is not worth it at all. If you only ever have one test a year, keep the 20% and do not buy the card. We would rather say so than sell you one.
