Cut to your measure
A shirt that fits at the collar and the cuff and nowhere in between is a shirt you stop wearing. Bada Saab has kept tailors on the premises since 1989 — which means a garment can be made from your own measurements, and one you already own can be put right.
Made to measure
Shirts, trousers, kurtas, blazers and suits, cut from your measurements. Choose the cloth at the counter — the price of stitching is separate from the price of the cloth, and both are told to you before anything is cut.
Alterations
A trouser length, a shirt taken in at the waist, a suit refitted after a good year or a hard one. Bring in something bought elsewhere and it is still a job they will do.
For the groom
Sherwanis and bandhgalas made to measure, and a styling appointment to work out what the day actually needs — including what the brothers and the father wear, which is the part everybody forgets until the week before.
Fittings, plural
A made-to-measure garment is not finished at the first fitting and this shop does not pretend otherwise. Expect to come back once, and to leave with something that fits.
Before you come in
Ring first for anything with a date on it — a wedding, an interview, a function next week. Stitching charges on the catalogue are indicative and do not include the cloth. The shop will tell you both figures at the counter before any work starts.
